Conceptual Contrast
I liked the contrast of black and white...except for the skin tones and the green lettering, this feels like a black and white to me.

Decisive Moment
This is my daughter and son-in-law. I felt this picture captured their love and playfulness. I love getting away from staring in the camera!

Karen,
ReplyDeleteOh, yes...the first feels bl/wh! Did you try converting it? I realize it would lose the green contrast element but I think it would be beautiful. I love the framing you used. Beautiful daughter and son-in-law...great set; I esp. love the last one and can feel the decisive moment it represents.
And, yay for the silhouette AND flare! Janet
Love the lines and framing in that first shot. I say convert that baby and see what it looks like. I bet it would be nice! For that last shot I might crop in even tighter. My eye is drawn away from her expression by his hand. I might try cropping it tighter to see if you can focus in on her face. Nice work this week!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite shot is the first one. It seems as though the boy got in trouble and was put behind bars for his time out. My suggestion for the inside outside picture is to show more of the window and what the couple is looking at. Maybe taking the picture horizontally would work better?! You did a great job on that silhouette shot. It's a fun shot. Nice job!
